Rejection Moved in House of Commons LONDON, May 31. Sir Jolin Simon, Chancellor of tlie Exchecjuer, in the Ijouse of Commons, dofcndcd the national defonce contribution. He said that tlie concessions in a full year would cost about £5,000,000. The tax yield would be about £15,000,000. Mr. Dalton moved ihe rejection of Ihe Bill. Sir J. S. Wardlaw-Milne and several other Conservatives criticised the tax, u The debate was adjourned.
