MR JORDAN'S SPEECH NOT BLUE-PENCILLED

W, J, Jordan, upon his return from Geneva, denied reports that Mr Anthony Eden had blue-pencilled his speech on the ' Spanish question. ' 'It is true that Mr Eden and xnyself conferred regarding the speech I was about to make," said Mr Jordan, "but neither Mr Eden's action nor mina was influenced thereby. W^ do desire, if practicable, to present similar cases to tbe League Council."
