CITIZENS' BAND BALL
All arrangements are now well in kand for the hig annual ball that is being held by the Hastings Citizens' Band next Tuesday evening in the Assembly Hall, Hastings, commencing at 8.15 p.m. With the best of music by Redward's Orchestra and a supper that will "surprise the natives," this year's function will be an outstanding affair, and is bound to eclipse all previous efforts by this very live combina-tion of musicians. Special d(ecorations will also be a feature and for the benefit of Napier patrons a free bus will leave before and after the dance. The committee wish to specially draw attention to the date (Tuesday, June 8) as jn the past the ball has always taken place on the King's Birthday, but otving to unforseen circumstances it had to be brought forward to the night before. Roll up and so help the band!
