RUGBY, May 30. To-day was celebrated as Empire Air Day and large crowds to.ok the opportunity of visiting the 53 Royal Air Force aerodromes, which had been thrown open to the public, and of watching displays of various kinds, including formation flying and aerobatics. The Air Secretary, Earl Swinton, himself made a tour by air of a nnmber of aerodromes yhere displays were in progress.
