Clerk of Court Mistaken. An incident which caused much amusement oceurred in the Warkworth Police Court. From a glance at those in Court, it would have appeared to most observers that there wero no lad;:es present. Business had not gone veiy far when the clerk of the Court interrupted proceedings with a peremptory command addressed to a "man55 sitting in the rear of the Court, who was committing the offence of wearing a hat.
