Gelignite Used on Sale

WHAKATANE, Last Night. On Saturday night the geueral store of Wiliiam McCormaek at Waimana was entered by thieves who forced the back door. The safe wa's removed to a nearby paddocli and blown open with gelignite, the sum of £8 being taken. The gelignite was apparontly obtained from a Couuty Council tool depot, whieh was also brokon into.
