Strikers Hurt
Twenty* strikers were mjured, two seriously, when a thousand marching upon tho Republio Steel Corporation Plant were beaten back by police armed with riot clubs. Several shots were fired but all denied firinft. Tbe strikers were attempting to force the closing of the plant, which wqs operating on a curtailed basis. — Chicago.
