Hawke's Bay Races NOMINATIONS FRIDAY Owners and frainers are reminded that nominations for all events &t the winter meeting of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club to be held on the Hastings racecourse on June 17 and 19 close with the secretary, Mr A. E. Wishart, at the Hastings racecourse tea-kiosk on Friday night next at 8 o'clock. AUSTRALIAN JOCKEY CLUB Nominations Due To-morrow Uwners and studmasters are reminded that to-morrow, Tuesday, by 4 p.m., nominations must be in for the Epsom Handicap, £2,600, one mile, and the Metropolitan Handicap, £5000, 1 mile 5 furlongs, to be run at this club's Spring Meeting, opening on October 2 next. At the soine time entries ' of now yearlings are due for the Breeders' Plate and Gimcrack Stakes, run at the same fixture, for the December Stakes, run at the Summer Meeting, and for the Sires' Produce Stakes, run at the Autumn Meeting of 1938. Studmasters will also note that at the same time nominations of sires must be made in order that their progeny will be eligible for the Sires Produce Stakes of 1939. Any of these nominations and entries may be made with the secretary of the Wellington Racing Club.
