QUIET WEDDING IN ADELAIDE RECENTLY

FIELD— STEADMAN At the P&ynehara roal Methodist Dhprch, Adelaide, recently, Margaret elder daughter 0f the Rev. W. R. and Mrg ^eadman, of Sqva, Fiji, was married to Roland, elder son of Mr O. field, of Tuavua, Fiji, and the late Mrs Field, and a. grandson of Mr and Mrs George Williani " Chadwick. Gordon road, Hastings. The bride, who was given . aiyay by her nncle, Mr H. N. VVicks, ~ wore white silk velvet with cowl neck line and tight-fitting sleeves, finished with a point' over the ^frista. The skirt was Grecian, with loog train. The tulle veil, worn over the face, was held in place with a soft plait of silver, capgb.t at each side with a. s.mall posy of real orange blossom. Grange blossom was also worn on the ehbulders. Her bri^esmaids, Miss Enid Richardf and ber sister, Miss~ Satherine Steadman, were froeked alike in pale apricot taffeta. ' Mr Kenwyn Richards was best man. The Rey, W. R. Steadman, father of the bride, assisjfced by the Rev. E. M. Ingamells, officiated. The bride has spent all her life in Ffji, except for four years at school and coljege in Adelaide. 'The bridegroom, who is from New Zealand, has also spent severaj years ih "Fiji. The bride travelled in a wine toned frock. Mr and Mrs Field ' wjll live in South Australia.
