CHILDREN KILLED BY WOLVES

Twelve children were killed by a paclc of wolves scouring the countryside near Ihe village of Bahimabad m the Lucknow district, "United Pro vinces. After an excitiug cliase organised by a landlord with the help of armcd constables the leader of tho pack was shot dead. A recent liailstorm lured the pack- out of the woods. Meeting with liardly any resistance, it became daring and carried away children from the fields in the presence of thedr parents.
