RUGBY FOOTBALL
To-morrow's Matches Followers of the Rugby gam© were treated to good displays last Saturday by teams in the local competition, and to-morrow' s matches promise to he interesting encounters. The star attraction on No 1 ground in Hastings at 2.45 wili be between Technical O.B. and Hastings. The exCollegians, who have suffered defeat by potted goals within the last few minutes of their last two matches, wili be out to make a-mends in to-morrow's game, as they are still within striking distance of winning the championship. The Hastings teain, if they can produce the form of their opening games, should provide a strong opposition for Techincal. Both teams wili be out to improve their position on the ladder, and an even contest should result. On the adjoining area Hastings H.S.O.B. wili meet Pirates, and this should see two evenly-matched teams. As both favour the open game, brightfootball of an interesting naturp should be witnessed, with Old Boys perhaps again favourites. For the early arrivals at 1.15 there wili be a junior game on No 1 ground between Celtic and 'Haumoana and a tbird-grade game on No 2 between High School and H.S.O.B.
