Napier-Hastings v. Central Hawke's Bay The representative Rugby game between Napier-Hastings and Central Hawke's Bay, played in Waipukurau prior to the King's Birthday, is always full of interest. and inclclent. This year it is to be played on Wednesday nest, June 2, on Central Park, Waipukurau. Players and selectors will have in mind the matcix Uetween Hawke's Bay and Wairarapa in Napier on the following Wednesday qs far as the seniors are concerned, while the Hawke's Bay junior team has yet to be selected, and for the purpose oi' affording the Hawke's Bay junior selector an opportunity of looking over Central Hawke's Bay junior roaterial, a junior trial match between A and B teams is to be played as a curtain-raiser to the aiain match, this commenciug at 1.30 p.m. Last year Central Hawke's Bay ran out the winners of the senior match by a narrow margin, and this year will be looking to repeat the per'formance. Likewise Napier-Hastings will hope to avenge last year's defeat. At all events, an interesting encounter can be expected.
