SALVATION ARMY BRIDAL FAIR
■ ■ ■ ■ + m The Salvation Army Hall .was filled last evening for the "Bridal Fair." Tho whole of the evening 's entertainment was most eujoyable. A programme that was very pleasing was rendered to a most enthusiastic audienee. Vocal items by Mrs Lee, Miss N. . Batchelor and Mr Linyard, elo'cutionary items by Miss Valerie McCoombe and Miss Johns were all enthusiasucally reeeived. A pianoforte solo by Miss Enid Westerman and a vocal duct in "costunie by Misses Eafine Orbell and Enid Westerman each reeeived a great round of applause. The bridal party arrived at .0.13 and looked charnliug as Ihey took their place on the plntform. Claude Manning and his little sister Vesper AVere bride and'bridegroom. Little Heather Srewart wa3 bridesmaid and Bruce Wilson best man. L'pon the father of tho brido objecting to tlie marriage of his daughter. her travelling-cases wero opened and the gifts distributed to the eongregalioii. The Sunday Scliooi funds 'will be belped considerably by thii entertaiument.
