Mr' C. V. Chamberlain has been reelected chairman of the Wairoa Power Board . . The Chief Justice, the Rt. Hon. Sir Micliael Myers, arrived at Wairoa on Sunday, and later left for Opoutama, where he is to be the guest of the Hon Mr Justice Johnston. Mrs A. Cameron, Wairoa, has gone on at three-montbs' holiday in Australia. Mr A. H. Gibson, clerk, of the Court at Wairoa, is to leave Wairoa for Wellington at the end of the month. His successor, Mr H. G. Jamieson, arrived on Tuesday. Mrs Boyle, of Waipukurau, has commenced relieving duties on the teach-. ing staff of the xSforsewood School until a permanent appointment is made. Mrs Boultbee and her daughter Miss Edith have returned to Norsewood from a holiday spent as the guests of Mrs Panting, of Mission Bay, Auek1land. Canon T. G. Cullwick is to takei charge of the Ormondville Parochial District, and will be inducted by Bishop H. Williams on Sunday evening next at -the Ormondville^. Churcn. Mr and Mrs G. Rendle, of Rua Roa, left Dannevirke on Monday for Auckland, where they i.ntend joining the Mariposa at the end of the week for a visit to Honolulu. Mrs Rendle has been in indifferen't health for some time, and it is hoped that she will beDefit from the sea voyage. Nurse I. Lawson, who is in charge of the Dannevirke school dental clinic, has been transferred to the supervising staff of the Training School for Dental Nurses for several months, and leaves ro r Wellington this week. Daring her ibsen.ee Nurse D. E. Macphee, of Hastings, will be in charge of the local cldnie. Mr M. O. Grainger has been reelected 'chairman of the Dannevirke Power Board
