WRESLING
Richards and Forsgren - For those whq jiike their .wrestling served up strong (and th© majority do), Friday night' s bout in Hastings betweeen Ray Richards and Jack Forsgren will satisfy. Forsgren, who was here last season, is well known for his aggressive tactics, but he met his equal in W ellington when he wrestled Richards and had to be ' content with the thin end of the purse. Richards, who is a pupil of the great Joe Stetcher, has probably the strongest legs of any wrestler to visit New Zealand, and in consequence is a hard rnan for the Bolton crab to be applied to. This hiold is Forsgren' s specialty and should protide one of the higli lights. Forsgren is wrestling better than he did last season, when he was suffering from eye trouble, and this is demonstrated by his record — only two losses, one to Bam Stein and the other to Richards. In this, the return bout with Richards, he will be going for eVens. The following are the amateur preliminaries : — H. McAvinue v. C. R. Croucher, Jack Stewart v. Alf Skudder, J. Boyd v. Lewis, Mitchell v. Patter.son. Emergency, Randall v. McDonald.
