Mr Gordon Northe, of Gisborne, who is a patient at the Pukeora Sanatorium, Waipukurau, is making good progress towards rccovery. Mr Northo has many Napier friends, having lived there some years ago. Mr V. Parsons, headmaster of the Waipukurau District High School, returned from Wellington during the week-end, where he had been attendiug the annual conference of the New Zealand Educational Institute as delegate for Central Hawke 's Bay. Mr A. E. Jull, Waipawa, is at present on a visit to Auckland. Mr C. Davy is spending a holiday , with his pirents in Waipawa,
