Not one — not two — not three — but four great stars glcriously, uproariously, hilariously together I Take two great Ziegfeld ptars — one from "Suzy" and one from "San Francisco"; put them together in hilarious comedy, directed by the man who made "A Tale of Two Cities" and you have Jcan Harlow, William Powell, Myrna Loy and Spencer Tracy under the direction of Jack Conway in ' 1 Libelled Lady ' ' — in other words you have sure-fire entertainment. The four stars, ably aided and abetted by Walter .Connolly, Charley Crapewin, Cora Witherspobn, E. E. Clive", and an all-star cast, romp gaily througih the hilarious action and situations of one of the brighteSt and greatest comedies ever to grace the screen. The action of the film eentres about a society girl who considers that a newspaper has iusulted her and flies a damage suit for five million dollars. Needless to say the sued newspaper is throivn into an uproar and its managitig editor solicits the aid of a former star, reporter to extricate the paper froni its difficulties. In his scheme to make the heiress drop her suit the reporter succeeds in making her fall in love with him. It is when hesin turn, falls in love with her that eomplioations begin and the :ale takes an uncxpected and hilarious turn.
