CLEARING SALE
\ Batisfactory pricee were obtained at a suceessful sale held at the propertyof Mr L. Griffiths, Ruataniwha, yesterday, by the Hawkfe's Bay Farmers' Co-op. Assn., Ltd. The .following is the range of prices: — Cows (s'eeond calvers): 1 at £2 5/-, 1 at £2 7/6, 1 at £2, 1 at £3 2/6, 1 at £2 17/6, 1 at £4, 1 at £3. Third calvers: 1 at £2 15/-, 2 at £4 5/-, 1 at £4 2/6, 2 at £3 10/-, 2 at £5, 1 at £3 7/6, 1 at £3 15/-, 1 at £6, 1 at £3 5/-, 1 at £6 5/-. Fourfh calvers: 3 at £3 15/-, 1 at £6 2/6, 1 at £4 15/-, I at £4 5/-, 1 at £4, 1, at £2 10/-, 1 at £4 2/6. Fifth calvers: 2 at £3 7/6, 2 at £5, 1 at £4 10/-. Sixth calvere: 2 at £5, 1 at £2 17/6. One seventh calver soid at £4 7/6, an eighth at £4, and a ninth at £2 12/6. A 2-yr heifer fetehed £3 15/-, and another £4, while 5-yr heifers sold at £2i 2/6. A 4-yr bull fetehed £5 10/-. Other Tuling prices were: — 1 aged blaek gelding £5, 1 aged bay mare £9, 1 Berk. sow £1 12/6, 1 white sow £1 11/-, 1 at £1 18/6, 1 .black sow £2, 1 at £3 1 at £2 16/6. The following implements were sold: — • 1 McCormick mower £10, 1 set Alfa harrows £4, 1 set grass harrows £1 10/-, 1 trailer £3 2/-. Furniture and sundries sold at very satisfactory prices.
