Rebels Heavy Losses (Received 24, 1,0 p.m.) LONDON, May 23. Latest loyalist raessages from Spain announqe the rebel bombing of the open towna of Pamplona and Vallodolid, resulting in tbe deaihs of many women and children. Tbe Times' Bilbao correspondent says: Four companies of rebels, Bupported by 96 aeroplanes advanced further towards Bilbao after bitter fighting during the week-end, sustaining losses whicb necessitated their reinforcement by two companies. The insurgients heavily ebelled Madrid for 4J hours. .The din was terrific. Forty-five people were killed aud 70 wounded The United States Embassy windows were shattered, and the Central Hotel, housing foreign journalists, was twice hit but little damage was done. A radio message from Seville elaims that rebel aircruft bombed the loyalist lieet off Cartagena and set fire to the battleship Jamie Primero.
