J^OTIOE IS HEBEBY GIYEN that at a meeting of the above-mentioned Board, to be holden in the' office of tha Board in Market Street, Hastings, on WEDNESDAY, Jnly 7th, 1937, at the hour of 2 p.m., it is the intention of the Board to make and levy General Eates nnder the provisions of "The Eabbit Nuisance Act, 1928" (Seetions 65 and 66) and "The Eating Act, 1925" (Seetions 51 to 59) on the basis of the number. of head of stoek as Jowss(1) A sheep rate of one-tenth part of one penny per sheep or lamb depastnring in the Hawke's Bay Eabbit District on 30th November, 1936; (2) A cattle xate of five-tenths part of one penny per head of cattle of all ages, depasturing in the Hawke's Bay Eabbit District on 30th November, 1936; SUBJECT TO a minimum total rate in accordance with Seetions 65, subSection (2), of "The Eabbit Nuisance Act, 1928" of five shillings in the case of any ratepayer who has f urnished a stoek xeturn and of ten shillings in the case of any ratepayer who ha# f ailed, on demand, to furnish a -xeturn and on whom a default assessment has been made in accordance with Section 41, sub-section (5) of "The Eabbit Nuisance Act, 1928." The said Eates to be for the period commeneing on the first day Of April, 1937, and ending on the thirty-ilrst day of March, 1938, and shall be payable on the 17th day of July, 1937, in oue payr tnent, at the office of the Secretary of the Hawke's Bay Eabbit Board, situate ,in Market Street, Hastings. On and after the date of this notice the Stockowners ' Eoll for the Hawke's Bay Eabbit District will'be open for inspection at Jhe said office between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on aJl week days except Saturday.
