The first open handicap race for the Mors© Rose Bowl was hield by the Napier .Harriers over a course of 10,000 metres on.the Napier aerodrome on Saturday. Owing to the condition of the ground, which wa» very soft and sandy, fast times were oht bf the que&tion. A good muster of runners faced thb started. Results wefe: — R. Jbhnsop (7min. 45seto.) 1, L.
