Mrs. T. A. Bromell Saw Coronation of Queen Victoria

WAIPUKURAU, This Day. One hundred and two years old today Mrs T. A. Bromell, mother of Mx Ct. ,T. Bromell, Waipukurau, was held up on her fatlier's shoulder to watch the coronation procession of Queen Victoria in 1S37. Mrs Bromell was born in Clifton, Gloucestershire, England, Mary Anne IJacker. She came to Ncw Zealand with. her husoand in 1868, settling in Nelson, where she has remained ever eince. Thore are three sons and two daughters — Messrs Harry Bromell, Nelson; , Fdrnond Eromell, Nelson; George Brom^ ell, Waipukurau; Miss Aliece Bromell, Nchon; and Mrs G. Thomas, Auckland. Despite her great age, Mrs Bromell enjoys fairly good health.
