WILL ITALY WITHDRAW
General Franco Worried (Reeeived 22, 1.0 p.m.) GIBRALTAR, May 21. Senor Juan March, the Spanish tobacco magnate and supporter of General Franco and other aristocrats, passed through Gibraltar en route to Italy, leading to a belief that Signor Mussolini will withdraw the Italian volunteers, owing to continued representations from the Italian combatants' families. It is thought that Senor March has a mission from General Franco to persuade Signor Mussolini to oontinue his support, as it is persistently rumoured that General Franco will resign if the Italians withdraw.
