(Reeeived 22, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 21. Commissioner Henry Mapp, Chief of Staff, has been dismissed from tho Salvation Army by General Ev£ Booth, following an inquiry by five senior commissioners. The Daily Mail says there is no appeal from his decision, but questions arising from the charge may come before a civil court. Commissioner Mapp in a statement said that published statements were incorrect. "I refused to accept General Booth 's ddsmissal withoift a hearing,5 he stated. He agreed that there would be a court inquiry, but no courtmartial was being held. The five senior commissioners apparently sat in secret on May 14 but it was not properly constituted as a Court of Inquiry under the rules and regulations of the Salvation Army. "I was not present," said Commissioner Mapp. "My request that certain witnesses should be called was refused. I was not only prejudged and condemned without a hearing, but nobody was allowed to say a word on my behalf."
