DRAWN GAME

New Zealand and Oxford University TIME AGAINST TOURISTS (From the Special Correspondent of the tTnited Pjmb Association with the Team.) f Reeeived 22, 11.30 a.m.) OXFORD, May 21. Tbe resumption of play in the match New Zealand v Oxford was delayed for an hour. Rain ieaked under the r.over at one end of the wicket, but the wet patch was too far down to help the bowlers. The wicket was easy and the New Zealanders did quite well to dismiss the last six University batsmen for 114. . The steadiness of the University attaok combined with the liveliness of the fielding compelled the tourists to be satished with a draw. Roberts, Dunning and Cowie all bowled accurately. Cowie took one wicket in the first over and Dunning took one. with the new ball. Wallace accepted a good catch at mid-off offi Dunning. Cowie dismissed the eighth batsman with another of his break-backs and Moloney's slow took the last two. Tindill opened the New Zealand innings brightly, but the others were not in their best form. Even Moloney was slower than usual, taking nearly two hours to reach 50. With five out for 95 and 100 runs wanted and only 80 minutes left, Donnell.v again played a useful innings, helping to add 51. Moloney fell when trying to foree the pace when there was only 15 minutes to go. The University certainly bowled to keep down the runs, but it was disappointing that the tourists were not able to force a win after appearing yesterday to have recovered form.
