PROVINCIAL PERSONALS
Mr and Mrs L. Franklin, Te Aroha, former residents of Otane, are visiting the town and are the guests of Mr and Mrs J. Ashby. Mr and Mrs- Malenoir, Otane, are spending a holiday in the Wanganui district. Mrs Dick Patere and her two children, of Dannevirke, are the guests of Mr and Mrs A. Coom.be, Hatuma. The funeral of Mrs Guy Livingston. of Tapapau, who passed away at New Plymouth on Sunday, took place on Wednesday afternoon and Was largely attended, the interment being made at the Takapau cemetery. In the absence of the Rev. H. Blathwayt, vicar of the Takapau parisb, the services at St. Mark's Church and afterwards at the cemetery were condiieted by the Rev. Canon Rice Waipukurau. The deceased lady will be much uiissed in the various orgauisations iu the district with which she was connected and a very large circle of friends will regret her untimely passing and will joiu in offering their sympathy to the bereaved familv.
