Napier System To Be Renovated ,, '\H' radio installation at the Napier l ubiic Hospital is to be renovated and nnproved at a cost of more than £360 Ihe decision come& as a result of a report to the board by Mr C. O. Morse, ioilowjpg aumerous eomplaints by the pajents about the inefficiency of the system. Mr Morse obtained a report from gur Po&t and Telegraph officials from Hastings and Napier, who classed the ecjuipment as madequate and inafficient atter a thorough investigation. A full report will be made to the board on Monday. and the board has agreed to S0t aexde for the purpose a sum of m^ey held by way of a bequest. rrovision is to be made for 150 pillow-phones, 10 loud speakers, two nxjcrophone poiixts, and oue microPbone, the total cost of putting the instaiiation xn order being £367 10/-. |
