wellington, Last Night. it was annouhced at an executive meeting of the New Zealand Bugby Union to-night the following telegram has been sent to the manager of the South African team, Mr. l. c. Day: — "a hearty welcome awaits you. Best wishes for a happy and pleasant tour." ; It was intimated that Viscount Galway was' pleased to accept onee again the office Of patron of the New Zealand Bugby Union.
