LONDON CROWDED
West End Accommodates Record Holiday Throng READY FOR REVIEW (British Official Wirelees.) (Received 19, 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, May 18. London is still crowded with siglitseers who have come to see the city in its Coronation eetting. Yesterday the West End accommodated the greatest Bank Holiday crowd it has ever known. During tke day 90,853 people passed through Westminster Abbey, where in two days the admission fees, which are devoted to charity, have totalled nearly £3000. Long queues had formed two hours before the Abbey ogened, and when it closed at night hundreds were turned away. The fact that the floodlighting was .turned on for the last time last night attracted crowde larger than Ihose £uring tha- day. Practically all units of the Home Fleet and foreign warships have taken up their positions at Spithead. Five passenger liners will be used to accommodate the official guests of the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty for the naval xeview. These will follow the Royal yaeht in her progre'ss through the moored men-of-war and will anchor afterwards near her ja, t the head of the Fleet. The liners '^position will enable their occupants to have an excellent view of the movements of the Fleet which will take place on Thursdav night.
