Troubled i-ves searched for him. At last the Bcgistrar roJieved the tension. He- announced that Mr O'Dell had gone below to " doctor' '" a distrosscd boiler. Later, Mr O'Dell returned to the court. He taltnly put oii the usher's robe again. To some people this may seem a commonplace event. But ex-sailorman O'Dell had prevented the building from being blown up.
