WAIPAWA REGENT
44The Suicide Club" To-night Based on the brilliant stones written about "The Suicide Club" by Robert Louis Stevenson, Metro-Goldyn-Mayer's film version starring Robert Montgomery and Rosalind Russell is bright and thriilling as any entertainment seen here this season. ' Montgomery is a Crown Prince and Miss Russell, whose meteoric ascent to stardom has amazed the screen world, is a Princess. The picture is also outstanding because of a pleasing east, headed by Frank Morgan, whose delicious comedy sparkles throughout the piece. Montgomery himself is very much up to standard, which is saying a lot, inasmuch as lie is one of the most- consistently popular screen stars to-day; and Rosalind Russell easily advances her popularity by her work in "The Suicide Club." The supporting programme includes a musical revue in colour, "Sunkist Stars at Palm Springs."
