June and July saw the outbreak of eonflict between the Right andrf left groups, and the initial Faseist revolt occurred an Morocco. On the iighting , ipxeading to the Spanish mainland, the Casares Cabinet resigned, and Senor Diego Barrios formed a Cabinet even mere to the Left. The Barrios Cabinet remained in power until November 5, 1936, when Senor Largo Caballero, with the extremist -Left group, came dnto power, supporfced by the Anarchist and Basque .groups, On November 7, the Government moved its headquaTters from Ma&rid to Valencia. Recent dissension between the Socialist and Anarchist groups of the Left front led to Senor Caballero 's
Cabinet reffigning, when an attempt was made to form a new Cabinet. This effort has t'affied, as to-day 's cable news states. Dr. Juan Negrin, who is at present attempting to form a moderate Left Cabinet, hcld the portfolio of Finance in the Caballero Government. He is a Socialist and has business interests, being a director of a Jarge Spanish chemical firm,
