Elphiek, who leaves towards the end of next week for Palmerston North. Mr. H. I. For.de, of the Wellington Evening Post literary staff, has been ■appointed as editor of the Journal of ' Agricxdture and .publicity officer for fhe Department of Agriculture, states a Press Association message from Wel-; lington. Mr. P. B. Winn, manager for New Zealand for the past three years of the Norwich Union Fire Insurance Society, Ltd., has been appointed manager .of , 'the society 's London office. Mr.. Winn will leave New Zealand for London next month. Mr. L. Fitzsinimons, aecounts clerk to the Palmerston North Hospital Board, has resigned his position because of his appointment as aeeountant to ithe Wanganui Hospital Board. The vacancy has been filled by the appointment of Mr. E. S. Wilson, at present clerk at the -Otaki Sanatoxium.
