Harvey, Fulton and HUI Harvey, Fulton and Hill report having held their usual weekly market sale in their mart, Russell street, Hastings, on Saturday last, when, owing to the wet weather in the morning, the entries were not as heavy as usual; neveftheless, quite a good yarding of pouitry came to hand, and this met with ready competition and prices were, higher than has been the case for some' cousiderable time/ Prices may be quoted : — Pouitry. — B.O. pullets 7/- to 7/6, W.L. pullets, 6/3 to 6/5, B.O. pullets (later) 3/6 to 4/-, W.L. pullets (later) 2/- to 2/3, W.L. hens 2/4 to 2/11, B.O. hens 2/8 to 3/9, cockerels 3/6 to 4/9. 2 College strain at 9/9 each, ducks 5/6 to 6/- pair. Also: — Truck £2 10/-, man's bicycle £2 10/-, woman's bicycle £2, tanks on stand £1 10/-, brace 4/6, water-can 3/-, scales 2/6, greaso-gun 3/3, car-box 5/-, saddle 19/6, haimes 2/6, pr. steps 7/6, letter-box 2/6, wind-screen wiper 2/6, maize 10/- to II/- sack, corn shcks 4^d. each, saddle £4 10/-, settee £1 15/-, dining suite £6 15/-, fricyele 7/6, dining chairs 7/6, K. chairs 6/-, woman's bicycle £2 10/-, carpet £5 15/-, linoleum £3 12/6, tallboy £2 5/-, S. bedstead £2 5/-, single* mattress £1 5/-, D. mattress £1 15/-. Also a fair yarding of fruit and vegetables sold at firm market rates.
