Attempted Offence on a Giri JUDGES COMMENT After changing his plea to one of guilty, Holga Pedersen, of Greenmeadows, aged 26, was admitted to probation for 12 months on a charge of an attempted serious offence on- a girl when he appeared for sentence before the Chief Jnstice, Sir Michael Myer's, at the Supreme Court session in Nnoif" this afternoon. At the same time Kenneth Burgess, aged 19, also of Greenmeadows was admitte d to probation for a similar period on a similar charge. His Honour emphasised the fact tliat it was sometimes necessary to protect young men from a certain type of girl as it was to protect respectable women from men and boys. Mr. W. Sehvyn Averill appeared for Pedersen and Mr. C. G. Harker for Burgess.
