INTERESTING WEDDING IN NEW PLYMOUTH

CONWAY— HALE At St. Andrew'a Presbyterian Cliurch, New Plymouth, recently, Caniellia Myrtle, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs John Hale, New Plymouth, was married to Douglas Fraser, younger son of Mr and Mrs F. W. Conway, "Beaufort," Eskdale.. The offieiating minister was the Rev. J. D. McL. Wilson, New Plymouth. The bride, who was oscorted by her eldest brother, I.fr L. Hale, was wearing a .beautiful gown of palest cream Belsuade, the lace yolk finishing in two poaka at the waistline and a spray of ical orange blossom at the noekline. The full skirt was flared in vandykea J».rming a fan-shaped train at the back, and the sleeves were tight-fitriug. Her hoautifully embroidered bridal veil, lent by a'friend, was held in place with a coronet of orange blossom. She wore a neeklace of large cream pearls and ear-rings to match, and carried a hour quet of cream roses and dqhlias arianged with maidenhair fern. The bride was attended by her two cousms, Misscs Florenco and Betty Opie, of Ashburton. Their becoming f rocks of salmon pink blistered inataiasse were fasmoned alike, the bodices, cut on the cross, having a cowled neckline held in place with diamond clasps. The elbow-length sleeves fell in folds I'rom pleats stitched from the shouldera inset in the back. They wore plaited iuset in the back. They wore plated lialoe of red silk veivet and silver lame, the red toning with the sashes of their 1 rocks. They -carried bouquets of pink nses, fuchsias and dahlias and wore crystal necklaces, the gifts of the bridegrooip. Mr Ealph Conway, brother of the brictegrooni, was best man, and Mr Dcuglas Hale, brother of the bride, was gi-oomsman. A reception was held at the Devon tearooms, and Mrs Hale, mother of the bride, received the guests. She were a smart navy blue costume. and a pink blouse, with hat and accessorics of navy blue and she carried a bouquot of pmk ros£s. Mrs Conway, mother of the bridcgioom, wore a navy blue and white figured marocain frock and coat to match. Ehe wore a navy blue hat and carried a bouquet of red rosos and dahlias Mrs Cross. twin sister of the bridegrooin, wore a fawn marocain frock, ni^ger-brown coat, and fawn and uiggcrbrown hat. "When the happy couple left by car foi their honeymoon, the bride was wearing a brown tailored costunie, an apricot blouse, fur stole and a smart brcwn hat relieved with apricot, and inset in- silver lame, the rod toning with her accessories were to tone.
