PUKETAPU INSTITUTE'S MONTHLY MEETING
There was a good uttendanco of members at the monthly meeting of the Puketapu Women 's lnstitute, Mrs. J. J. Anderson presiding. Mrs. Andereon gave a comprehensive report on the annual meeting of the Northem Hawke's Bay i'ederation. Considerable interest was taken in a monogram competition the results being: Mrs. R. Donald 1, Mrs. E. Boyd 2, Mrs. F. S. Byrne 3. The awards for the best sultana loaf were as follow: — Mrs. E. Boyd I, Mrs. R. Donald 2, Mrs. F- S. Byrne 3. For the best flower the placings were: Mrs; A. Eoe 1, Mrs* J. J. Anderson 2, Mrs. F. S. Byrne 3. An dnteresting demonstration 011 liairpin work was given by Mrs. F. Goodman, of Napier. Some discussion took place on finalising arrangements. for the annual ball, wliich will be held in the Puketapu Hall.
