WAIROA, This Day. At the Lambton sports ground on Saturday afternoon, two senior and two junior matches were played. The third junior game was played at the Wairoa Distriet High School ground. The ground was in good condition for play as a result of the rain whien fell during tlie week. Owing, no doubt, to the showery conditions prevailing in the afternoon, there w^f only a Mr.'.ali attendance o.f spectators, Results were as unde**'.-~ PENIOR. Whakaki 13 v Old Boys 5 Pirates 9 v. Waipapa ii. JUNIOR Old Boys 13 v. Pirates 3. Waiau 30 v. Waipapa 3. Pirates 6 v. Old Boys 3. At Nuhaka the results were:- ■ Senior: Nuhaka 14j Mahia 6.
