Forestry League Competition The New Zealand Forestry League is offeriqg prizes to boys and girls throughout the Dominion for the best collection of,speciments of native trees and shrubs. The object of the competition is to awaken the interest of the boys and girls in our wonderful forest flora. All entries will be exliibited at the annual meeting of the League in Wellington.

Prizes are offered for best collection of foliage, flowers and fruit of native trees and shrubs as follow : — For boys and girls over 12 and under 16 years, first prize £1 10/-,; second £1, third 10/-. For boys and girls under 12, first prize £1, second 10/-, third 5/-. Specimens, which must have been collected since July, 1936, must reach Wellington on or before Saturday, June 26, 1937. Specimens are to be mounted on stiff white paper or cardboard, named, and giving date and place of collection. Collection and mounting must be the unaided work oi the cbnipetitor. Parents or adult friends may give advife and supply competitor with the l.arne of tree or shrub
