No Change in Dates • DANNEVIRKE, May 14. At a well-attended meeting of £hc general committee of the Dannevirke A. and P. Association on .Thursday, presided over by Mr. H. B. Stuckey, the secretaxy bronght forward the question of show dates for nest yeac and sai'd he would like the committee to go into the matter ea,rly. .They had to consider the suggestions of the Chamber of Commerce that the ehow be held on Friday and Saturday, pa account of the Satnrday half-holiday. Mr. W. H. Smith said the question of Bhow dates had been frequently discussed and personally he did not think the association should change from Tnesday and Wednesday. He moved that the present days be retained and that application be made for these for the coming show. The president said the changing of the ehow days was a big question and there was a great deal to be considered in discussing the matter. Mr. A. J. Ayres said if the show days were changed it would mean holding the stock over the week-enc. There was also the questien of .the ram fair. Mr. W. Hs Speedy seconded- the motion, and it was carried.
