DEATH OF "SMITHY"
Australian Government Making Inquiries (Received 15, 10.30 a.m.) CANBERRA, May 15. The Acting-Minister for Defence, Mr Thorby, said that he was making inquiries into the charges said to have been made hy Lady Kingsford-Smith in Honolulu on May 14. He is trying to communicate with Lady KingsfordSmith, to ascerfcain whether she was courectly reported.
