Charge of Assault Fails (Eeceived 15, 3 p.m.) NEW YOEK, May 14. Assault charges against FatheT pivine and three of his disciples were dismissed. Witnesses failed to identify the assailants. Father Divine was arrested in April 22 on a charge of assault. He disappeared shortly after a white man, who is alleged to be a process server, was stabbed and beaten in Father Divine 's "kingdom." Three other negroes were arrested on the same charge.
