AUCKLAND, Laot NiglA ' Distinguished in Americ&n aviation on aecount of a round-the-world flight and brilliant flying in a series of motion pietures, Mr Stephens, junr., a test pilot on the staff of the Lockheed Aircraft Corporation, will arrive by the Mariposa to-morrow. Mr Stephens will superIntend the assembling of the three Lockheed Electra aeroplanea recently ordered by Union Airways, Limited, for ase on the proposed Auckland-Welling-. ton air Bervice and will test the monoplanes before they are handed over .to the New Zealand company. Although only 31 years of age, Mr Stephens has 3334 hours' flying experience, having leamed to fly in 1923 at J Rogers^Aiiport, Los Angeles.
