Hastings Street School, Napier FESTIVE OCCASION The Hastings Street School, Napier, Jubilee Ball, held in the Foresters' Hall on Wednesday evening, was largely attended and the event was an exceptionally festive one, Among those present were: — Mrs Eulford, wearing a froek of brown cloque with gold lame corsage and shoulder spray of gold flowers. Mrs C. MeDougall, American model o± navy blue cloque crepe reliieved with shell pink and diamante. Mrs Hicks, black and white embossed frock of e atiu grano. Mrs R. Reid, coronation blue windswept crepe, silver hower on corsage, coate^ to tone. Mrs G. Melbye, frock of white cotelle with floral spray. Miss E. Munro, cherry cloque spotted in silver, coatee of same material. Miss M. Stephens, smart frock of floral eatin taffetas. Mrs A. Kirkman, off- white sat':n cloque frock with spray of flowers. Mrs V. Rouse, model frock of black relieved with poSy of flowers. Mrs H. S, Fulford, marlborough blue crepe tunic with silver girdle and flowers. Mrs 0. Reid, taffetas frock in maize tone trimmed with gold lame. Mrs Bowater, piink ring velvet witli silver posy. Mrs Brett, smart frock of taffetas in apricot tones.
