SCHOOL JUBILEE BALL
Mady old pupils of the Hastings StreOt Scho'dl, Ntpier", attended the school's jubilee ball, whicH was held in the Fofesters' Hall, Napier, last eteniiig, This event, being held durifig Coronation Week, was an exceptionaily f dstive one. The hall - was dOcofated with multi-eoloured etreamdfS, gold Chrysanthemums and palms being artanged on. and below the stage. The long supper-tables wBrfe' be'ahtiftilly decorated with the schedl cdlourS of blue and gold. The ladies fesponsible fof the excellent supper arrangements were: Mesdames Fiilford, Hieke, Rfeid and Melbye, and Misses E. Munfo and M. Stephens. Much credit is due to the committee of men who worked so well .*.n every way to make the evening sucli a huge success.
