(Received 13, 12.50 p.m.) LONDON, May 12. ff Coronation Day wasunforgettable, Coronation Night was perfect, and a tremendous climax to London 's rejoicings. Dancers made merry tn the festooned streets. ,Tho city was one vast whirl of gaiety and one endless tumult of singing and cheering. Thousands were soaked to the skin by the heavy rain. fhere was no lessening of the dense throng at Buckingham Palace, and amid tumultuous cheers the King and Queen appeared on the balcony of the fioodlit Palace at 9 p.m. waving their hands an acknowiedgment. The King wore evening dress and the Queen an ovening gown of white silver with a cloak of white fox fur. After this appearance a big proportion of the crowd was satisfied and drifted off, but their places were immediately taken by new arrivals, who clamoured for the Eing. Their patience was rewarded at 10.30 p.m., when the King and Queen reappeared and stood in the rain for several minutes acknowiedging the cheers and then withdrew. Their Majesties shortly afterwards .e tired. It was officially announced that they were not unduly tired by the utrenuous day, aithough, naturally, they were fatigued. The rain continued beyond miidnight, out there was little abatement in the revelry. Groups of men and girls arm-in-arm, sometimes extending right across a street, sang gaily through tho rain.
