Painter of "September . Morn" PAJaiS^kay 10. The death has occurred of M. Paul" C^abas, painter of "September Morn," which became famous owing to an American agitation declaring it lewd. M. Chabas evontualiy sold the painting to a Bussian oil magnate for £2000, but did not profit by the milli.ons of reproductions which were made. Later, in denying a story that his tnodel was starving in a garret in Paris, M. Chabas revealed that she had become the wife of a rich French business man, and had three children. She was 16 years of age when the picturs was painted.
