A vpry jolly private sociaj and dunce arranged in conljection with the Coronation festjvities was held 'in the friendly Society Hall last evening. fhe hall was very l»rig|itly decorated wit'b fiags bnpting ns well as ferns, streamers and balloou's, Aboht 80 young people enjoy.ed dancing to tnusic playcd by Mr Lew Muuro, and the duties of ALC, were ably carried oiit by Mr R. Lovio. Eloetitionary items given by Miss Constance Dewson were muclj appl.'uided, and songs by Mr £3. Holmes were also enjoyerl. A delicious supper was handed round durilig an interval and wliile Mr Roy V. Synionds cut the Coronation cairn everyone joined iu singing the National Anthem. . .
