Waikato Farmers Enter Protest

HAMILTON, Last Night. A protest to the Commissioner of Taxes in" regard to the peremptory nature of demands made on farmers for detailed accounts for taxation purposes was made at the monthly meeting of the Waikato sub-provincial executive of the Farmers' Union yesterday. One case was cited where a farmer was requested at lour days' notice to rnake a detailed account covering a period of years-
