Mr. George Lawson to Leave

WAIPUKURAU, This Day. Rugby football in Central Hawke's Bay is to lose* the valued services of Mr George Lawson, one of the province's most promiisng five-eighths. He has resigned his position on the staff of the Waipukurau Hospital to take up a position immediately in Auckland. Mr Lawson, who represented Central Hawke's. Bay last year, will be a deeided asset to the Otahuhu Football Club in Auckland, with wbich club he has enrolled. The central part of the province," and Waipukurau in particular, will be extremely sorry to lose him, for not only is he a good footballer but also is a most popular resident of the district.
